Essay 2-02b: Group Movie Review
We watched Disney’s version of Robin Hood. This movie was released in 1973.  So, we introduce about it and our favorite scenes.

First, Anna’s favorite scenes are Robin Hood’s disguise and bow game and Love. It was interesting for me to watch Robin Hood’ disguise. He is smart and dexterity about everything. One day, he disguised an old man; he gave a child the birthday present. I didn’t think that an old man is Robin Hood when I watched it scene at first time. He is kind to everyone. He is savior among his town. Next day, he disguised the stork, he participated in bow contest. He always deceives Little John, but his partner detected Robin Hood.

Next, he is good at to games bow. He can shoot at a target, no matter how it target is far away. Maybe, I thought that he will be able to shoot at a target to blindfold him. His arrow hit the partner’s hat at the first half of the movie. He takes part in bow contest, because the winner can kiss with Princess Marian. He loves her for a long time, so he fought sheriff to the very end. I also cheer for him.

Second, Kazumi’s favorite scene is a party for dancing in forest. But they sang a song which made a fool of John. And collection of a tax became severe. So we were very sad when we saw depriving a lot of money from poor people. But Robin Hood took the money back from a king. We were excited when villagers have escaped from prison. Robin Hood battled the enemy and finally he gained a victory! And they gave the villagers a lot of money what taken as a tax.

Next, the real king came back the village whose name is Richard. And he was endearing to everyone. Nobody stopped those who take a tax from the villagers. And they need not to worry about a tax. So the village returned to the original fortunate life. Robin Hood is a hero for the villagers. If somebody asks for help, I hope that he gives some their help. And we want the villagers to make a good living forever!


These are our favorite scenes. We enjoy watching this movie, so we  recommend to watch Disney version of Robin Hood.

W10: My favorite TV show

I like to watch TV. But recently, my favorite TV show is “The reason I can't find my love. We can watch it every Monday at night.

Principal performers are Karina, Yoshitaka Yuriko, Yuko Oshima and so on. They are very cute. It is the greatest life-size love story in history. Three women enjoyed falling in love. But they are going badly. For example, Saki became like one man. But he got married. She loves him so she doesn't stop her feeling. Emi get along with a man but she doesn't forget old boyfriend. They are best friend. Mako was fall in love at her superior. But they didn’t get along.

I'm looking forward to watching this drama. While I watching it I have butterflies in my stomach.

I want you to watch this drama. Maybe you want to fall in love!

W9: My favorite music

My favorite artists are Kana Nishino and mihimaru GT. But recently, I began to like Sonar Pocket. I don't know them before. But I am listening to their songs I became their fan! The members are ko-dai, eyeron and matty. My favorite songs are "ラブレター", "100回の後悔" and "100年先まで愛します". They are love songs. All of their songs are nice and I feel sympathy for their songs. I am listening to their songs every day when I go to school in bus and train. Their songs make me happy and relief.

Next January, I am going to their live in Fukuoka with Anna and Miki! I have never to go concert. This is the first time. So I am so exciting!

I think that everyone is not well-known about them. But I want you to listen their songs. Maybe, their songs make you happy. If you haven't a boyfriend or girlfriend, I think you want to fall in love♡

W8: My favorite sport to watch

My favorite sport is volleyball. So I like to watch it. Now there is a volleyball game in Japan. I am looking forward to watch it.  We can watch a man's game on TV. My favorite players are Fukuzawa and Shimizu. They are so cool and strong.  Last time, there was a woman's game. It was so exciting to watch! My favorite players are Yoshie Takeshita and Saori Kimura. They are good at playing!

When I was a junior high school student, I went to watch man's volleyball game with my friends and family. It was so powerful. I remember that we cheered one's team vigorously! On December, there is a volleyball game in Kikuchi. I am going to watch it with my mother. I like to watch it but I want to play it.If I have a chance I want to play volleyball with my friend!

W7: My favorite subject

My favorite subject is English. I have studied English when I was an elementary school student. In those days, there was an English class for a week. I was looking forward to taking the class. I remembered that we enjoyed singing some English songs. And I borrowed some English books. So I studied English words.

When I was a junior high school student, I liked to talk to ALT.  We enjoyed talking during lunch break and cleaning time. And we exchanged e-mails. I was very happy when I got some e-mails. In holiday, I went to her house with my friends. We enjoyed cooking, listening music, eating dinner and so on. We had a very good time.

So I like to study English. Now, I study English every day. I want to talk with foreign people. So I study English very hard!

W6: My favorite character

My favorite character is "Kumamon". He is a main character of Kumamoto. I like him very much because he is cute. Recently, I went to Aso with my friend, Miki and Anna.

We went to Aso Farm Land, Aso shrine, Daikanbo and so on. We went there to buy some Kumamon goods. I bought keychain, bag, and a seal. And Kumamon use Twitter. So I check his tweet every day. Now there is a "Yuruchara Grand Prix 2011". There are about 360 characters in Japan. But Kumamon is provisionally in the first position. We can vote favorite character. So I want you to vote for Kumamon! And I hope that Kumamon win the Grand Prix! I love Kumamon♪

BR2-03: The Gingerbread Man

"But one thing made them sad. They had no children." (Hunt,1987, p.7)

Once upon a time, A little old woman and a little old man lived on a farm. They want to their children. So they decided to make a boy out of gingerbread. She opened the oven door. Then an gingerbread man jumped out and ran away. He went to farm, school, field and so on. Finally, he went to a river. There was a fox. So the fox ate gingerbread.



I chose this book because I interested in this title. And I want to know about "Gingerbread Man". First, I was very surprised because cookie could move! Gingerbread Man walked around and he met a lot of people. So I expected that he is going to get on well with them and live together happily. But finally, he eaten by a fox. I was very sad to read this story. But the Gingerbread Man was a wayward child and he didn't listen advice his parents. So I think there is nothing for it. But this book is interesting story. So I want you to read it!

BR2-02: The Secret Room

  
"Mum opened the door. She found a room." (Hunt,1986, p.12)

I chose this book because I wanted to know about " The secret room". And I want to live a new house!

Biff and Chip liked the new house. So they helped their parents. They put wallpaper on the wall, painted a door and so on. But especially, Biff wanted new wallpaper. So they went to the wallpaper shop and she bought new cute wallpaper. While they cleaned the room they found a door. And they found a little house. They opened it and looked inside. surprisingly, the little house looked like their house inside! There were three little children and a dog. And they looked like them! They like the secret room very much!

It was very interesting story. I try to find a little house at my home because it looks very exciting! I want to find it.

Essays 2-01b: My Favorite Places in Kumamoto

I live Japan in Kumamoto. Kumamoto have many famous places and beautiful natures. So I will introduce Kumamoto and other favorite my places.

I like Kumamoto city. There are a lot of places. For example, shopping place, Kumamoto Gakuen University, Kumamoto Castle and so on. Sometimes I go to Shimotouri and Kamitouri. There are a lot of clothes shops, food shops and cosmetic shops. I like to go there. I enjoyed shopping! KGU is my university. There are a lot of good friends and teachers.

Second, there are many good eating places.  There is a conveyor belt sushi near my house. It is my working place. There are a lot of fresh fishes, flied chicken, flied potatoes, dessert and so on. All foods are very good but I can’t stand raw fish. So I always said by my friends and family why you can’t eat raw fish. This is too good. So I try to them.

Third, sometimes I go to buy clothes with my family. We often go Hikarinomori to buy them. Because there are a lot of cute clothes and there are various shops. For example, there are clothes shops, MacDonald’s, sushi, general dealer, supermarket and so on. So I like to go there. I bought many clothes, bags, accessory and so on. My family also bought various things there. Recently I didn't go there so I want to go!

Kikuchi have a lot of beautiful and nice places. I like my hometown. I want you to come to Kikuchi more than once. At that time, I will introduce Kikuchi!

W5: My favorite clothes

I often go to Hikarinomori to buy some clothes. There are a lot of shops. For example, clothe shop, restaurant, game center, ice-cream shop and so on. There are a lot of cute clothes. I bought many clothes there before. Recently, I cannot go there. So I want to go there with my family and friends in the near future. And I often go to Shimamura near my house. There are a lot of clothes cheaper than other shops. So I like the shop. Recently, I bought a cloth in Fukuoka. But I couldn't buy some clothes. Because I haven't enough time the day. Now, I want to a coat and a one-piece dress.  If I haves chance I want to go Fukuoka again with my friends or family.

W4: My favorite fruits

My favorite fruits are strawberry, orange, banana and pineapple. Sometimes I went to buy cake near my house. Then I bought strawberry shortcake. My father and mother like Mont blank cake but I don't like it. And I like crape very much! I can choose some fruits. So I chose strawberry or banana. We can buy crape cheaper than other days in 9, 19, and 29 every month. So the day I want to go there with my friends. In my childhood, my mother made an orange jerry. It was very good! My friends also eat it. I try to cook it so I ask my mother. Sometimes I made cake in my home. But I have not made strawberry shortcake. There is my mother's birthday in this month. So I try to make it.
